Every so often, I'll find a few bouquets of flowers with maybe one or two dead ones in there. I'll sometimes give a bouquet to my Mom after composting the dead flowers. Most of the time, you can piece together a full bunch or just take out the good ones to put around your house.
It really brightens things up!
(On a side note, Kendall gave me the "vase" pictured here as a housewarming gift - she brought a whole set of discarded chemical fleakers from her Neuroscience lab that she had sanitized. So, even the vase is kind of dumpstered!)
